He's such an alpha dog player. A rich man's Jaaron Simmons. He's also now the MAC'S leading scorer. I can't remember the last time we had the leading scorer at this point in the season.

Still managed to score 19 points and if this is a "bad" night by any means: Oh boy we got an impact player on our hands.

One other note I noticed against BG: Teams are going to start editing their defensive schemes when they play us to contain Sears, which will lead to other guys breaking out (ie Carter last night). Hopefully we can take advantage of this / adjust our offensive schemes

Agree on the "hopefully" part of that thought. It will require guys other than Carter to have nights like Schmock did last night.

Amazingly, two sophomores. Good for the MAC until you realize it's 2022 with free agency running rampant at the college level.
