With our first conference game apparently cancelled a plethora of questions come to mind.

Let's assume two teams finish the season with the same amount of losses but one team has an additional win. Who is the conference champ?

What is the standard for cancellation? Can one sick person be enough of a reason to permit cancellation?

What if we don't want to travel to Buffalo? Let's cancel!

How can these games be rescheduled in a fair manner?

I think you need to have 7 healthy players and on healthy coach. I posted the MAC policy in that Cleveland State game canceled thread. If you have that and do not play you forfeit.

That would be a forfeit

There is no way that will be perfectly fair. We are fresh right now. I am sure we would rather play now than 3 games in a week at some point. They will do their best. This will likely happen to everyone before season's end.
