What’s up with Towns not playing? Did I miss something?
I have inside info (talked to him) he's a bit banged up I believe from taking a fall against Toledo.

Exit the game and start it up again

I'm gonna amaze Bsquared with my photographic Bobcat basketball memory, but the last regular season game in 2020 at Miami, Ben didn't play and was in a boot. The next game against CMU at home in the tourney first round he was totally unstoppable.

That was a great atmosphere. Especially considering it was a Tuesday night in February.

Two BVP plays stand out, both in the first half, and neither resulted in points:

* With the ball at the top of the key, he faked shot, faked going right with the defender falling for the fake and getting turned around leaving an open 3. Unfortunately, a miss.

* End of half, BVP swipes at the ball along baseline before falling out of bounds. Jumps back over the baseline, establishing himself inbounds before tapping the ball to a teammate.

Also impressed with how he recognized the attention he was getting in the 2nd half and found the open man beyond the arc. I had him with 3 assists in the 2nd half that set up 3-pt baskets? Should you get 1.5 assists when setting up a 3? If so, should you get .5 assists when it leads to 1 made free throw? If not, why not?

Here's a tip......don't start that chant with our guy at the foul line. Delay just a bit.

BVP tonight: one of the greatest individual performances I've ever witnessed in the Convo.

Agree - Both sides of the court - FG & FT shooting, rebounding, passing, driving, toughness, smart aggressive plays to save possession, etc, etc. And I was concerned when he got his 3rd foul with a Lot of game left - Zero fouls after that!

There have obviously been many closer games but that was, all things considered, in my opinion, the best and most enjoyable game I have seen in the Convo for quite some time. I honestly don’t think I can think of a better one from over the past 10 seasons; certainly not during a week day. Kudos to the players, coaches, students/Ozone, band and other fans for making it so. I should probably even include Miami for providing just the right amount of “chippy effort” that helped add to the overall atmosphere and make the victory even sweeter.

Absolutely! Miami had no answer for his ability to do everything well. I couldn’t help but wonder what was going through the minds of the Miami coaches. Had to be a horror show for them.

I love how all of the "experts" that write about us or outsiders who call our games talk about losing Jason Preston but Boals has done an outstanding job of balancing all of the guys out. I live and die by the Blue Ribbon Report and look at who was missing last night just from that edition: DW3, Lundo and Jason Carter and we still win over a hot MAC team fighting for Cleveland. The development of Ezuma and the trust Boals has put into Schmock and Miles lately is amazing. And the bench guys continue to be so positive and engaged. I saw Sam Towns multiple times coming out of timeouts talking with Olumide or another player being positive and expressive. Just a great culture right now.
