I had posted about the NCAA recommending schools follow CDC protocols.
I believe that would be a 5 day isolation if you test positive.
Then done.
Does anyone know if that's what the MAC is doing ?
This is only partially true. At our school, we are now at the 5 day isolation calendar, but there is a slight twist. After the 5 days of isolation, you are to remain fully masked at all times from days 6-10 when around others. For us, that means having students eat in isolation from days 6-10 because this is the one time they are unmasked in the building.
If the MAC were to follow the CDC guidelines, that would mean that the players, while in days 6-10, would have to play wearing a mask. Would that be something players are willing to do or the school/conference were to require?
