I will go back to what I said earlier.

Win tomorrow night, great.
Lose tomorrow night, not panicking.
It all comes down do three special days in Cleveland.
It always does.

With that said, success breeds national recognition. And over the last 20 months we are getting a nibble of national respect.

I'm not in the camp of "let's fly under the radar"....nope.

This is what winning does. You get every big-time college writer/analyst taking note of the team in Athens, OH. You start knocking on the top 25 door and recruiting takes off (already is). We have a chance to do this under Boals for years to come. Embrace the national pub and LFG.

This is awesome! If...BIG IF...we have an undefeated week on the road, this could increase significantly. I'm so excited for tomorrow night's game and can't wait to see Sears, Carter, and BVP take over.

I feel bad for Morehead. It's in the middle of friggin' nowhere. They beat Belmont head-to-head and are ranked behind them. (Belmont had to shoot 35 free throws to beat a 5-18 team in overtime...yet moved up 2 spots?) UNC-Wilmington had a 13 point loss recently to 7-17 Elon and yet is still ranked in that poll. Longwood's (cough-cough) "strength" of schedule is #352 in all of D-1 hoops which is at the bottom of the bottom. Yet they are ranked in this "poll."

While it's nice that they have us at #7, the validity of this thing is questionable, to be tactful about it. Especially when they boast about how unimpeachable they think it is in the remarks at the bottom.

Imagine if we defeated Duke in Coach K's final season. I know they are an extremely good team but still.

I am pretty sure EMU was favored in Vegas to win that game, We certainly wouldn't be. It might not be an upset on the order of Georgetown but certainly on the order of Virginia or Michigan.

Belmont's having the kind of night vs Murray St on national TV (ESPNU) that we had last week on national TV vs Kent. Murray (26-2, 16-0) leads 47-24 with 15:11 left in the game. Belmont (24-5, 14-2) didn't break the 20-pt barrier until 16:30 left. Just nothing going in for them.
