I have just heard the JP is continuing is course work to graduate.
I think this is a great decision. Many similar players do not finish to get their degree.
This decision tells us so much about this man and where his head is out. Clearly a well adjusted person given his background.
GO JASON, enjoy the ride

And he looked so excited for OUr guys at the game the other night. Jason Preston was an amazing Bobcat and will end up as a 10-12 year NBA guy once he's healed up -- mark it down.

+1. We all really enjoyed chanting “JA-SON PRESTON!” that night. I wish him nothing but the best in his continued recovery and future career! Always a Bobcat!

This doesn't surprise me at all. He's a great person from everything that I've heard and is very loyal to OHIO. A friend of mine and his wife were going down Franklin Avenue in Jason's first year on campus and they saw him walking down the street. They stopped and congratulated him on a great performance on the court the previous night. They have told me more than once how impressed they were with is friendliness and how he stopped and engaged them in conversation -- not one iota of that athlete aloofness that you sometimes see in college basketball and football players.

I get that he doesn't have the stats for this, necessarily, but how great would it be to see #0 in the rafters? Or if not, honor his story and impact in some (permanent) way in the Convo.

Maybe like a statue? I like that idea, UC has one of Oscar outside their arena, and it's a great touch!

Might be a "great" touch, but as 100% says, he doesn't have the stats for that. In this case, he is 100% correct.

Hey, Billy, he may in a few years have the bucks to buy those naming rights to the Convo you've been talking about. He's not a very ego-centeric guy, so he'd probably name it Jeff Boals Convocation Center.

Good, It's only been since 2013 that we hired Front Row Marketing to find a suitor for both the Convocation Center and Peden Stadium.

He might name is the Saul Phillips Convocation Center. Wouldn't that be something.
