One consideration for our late season woes could simply be a matter of needing rest. You may recall the San Antonio Spurs resting Tim Duncan down the stretch at road games that had little meaning. Not comparing our situation to theirs, but it made me think a little. We have played 31 games and don’t have a deep bench. Why not rest the starters a bit the last few games to help prepare for the bigger games in the tournament? Sears played 37 minutes vs Northern and Vander Plas 32. We still lose, but what do we gain from the win?

I am with ya Z. Our short bench might be the culprit the past 3 weeks. I just hope that we can recover quickly and take care of Ball State on Thursday!
