Heard an ad on sports radio today. They were hyping the pick of the day. My ears perked up because they we talking NIU/OU game tonight. Although NIU is near the bottom of the conference they have covered the spread the last 7 games.

I am warming up with Kant/Buffalo. Man they both look strong but Kant is scary good right now. It is all about who is hot. We are not. Sure hope it turns our way starting tonight.

Last time Kant won 11 straight they went to Elite 8.

I just walked on by when I saw that. Surprised to see it bothers someone else enough to bring it up. Kudos. Loosing is one of those things I detest. Grammatically and philosophically. I am convinced it is not intentional as often as I see it happen.

It's incredible. I watch a lot of mid-major hoops on ESPN+. It is only Ohio games that ever have broadcast issues. It's maddening.

What has happened to our Ohio Bobcats? I'm still confident they'll win tonight but they have completely fallen apart. They've gone from taking care of lesser opponents to struggling against Bowling Green and NIU. I know life isn't easy on the road in the MAC but something is really off with this squad. Nothing comes easy on offense.

My 8th grade middle school boys team averaged more in a 12 minute half. Zero imagination from our bench, zero energy, looks like a team ready for the season to end.

If it makes any difference the SEMO-Murray game on ESPN-U had the same crappy picture freeze and flashing issues for a while. Sometimes at the same time.

I'm really trying not to overreact either. I'm still not counting them out in Cleveland even though the odds don't look good at the moment but I need to see more inspired play.

Sears hasn't looked the same since teams started bottling him up but that's when BVP and Carter should be able to step up. BVP is hit or miss which is frustrating to watch. I really don't understand how Carter doesn't step up more. I know he's been dealing with the cramp issues but OU needs him to elevate his game if they're gonna make a run in Cleveland.

Yep. I see a guard who has had his one trick taken away and is frustrated because he has nothing else. I see a team of guys who can't shoot to save their lives and they're frustrated the shots aren't falling. I see a coach who doesn't feel he has any other options to try and is frustrated watching it play out.

Adds up to a tired and frustrated team who appears will welcome the season coming to an end in a couple days so they can turn the page and move on.
