Crazy to see Buffalo above par but they have a very makeable birdie putt tonight.

Weird seeing NIU -1. They did play a pretty tough OOC schedule, so perhaps they are better than expected

The 6th tee is Critical - Multiple strokes advantage in play.

Let's get a Big Turnout at the Convo Friday to support the Bobcats!

Situations like right now are why the golf standings have value. Real exciting to have moved into 1st but might just be the calm before the storm.

Yes the idea that we're in first right now is a bit dubious considering the scheduling imbalance and covid quirks. We still have Akron at home, @Kent, @Toledo, @bg, @cmu (improving but that place is a nightmare even when they suck). Overall 6 of last 9 are on the road. If we hang on to win this regular season we will have to earn it. And if we don't win tomorrow hopes of regular season title are pretty much gone.

Agree that with 6 of 9 on the road that will definitely define "earning it."

Toledo finishes with @ NIU, vs Kent, vs CMU, @ WMU, vs Miami, @ UB, vs BGSU.

Only team I really see them potentially losing to is Buffalo. Hoping we get the dub tonight.

UB or Kent. Otherwise I agree, its highly unlikely they lose any of the rest of those.

Unlikely that Toledo would drop a game outside of UB or Kent but not out of the realm of possibility.

Also, I just saw CMU has won 4 of their last 5 and now has a winning record in MAC play? I wasn't expecting that... Bobcats better not dwell on the Toledo loss and get ready to travel to Mount Pleasant tomorrow...

They're a realistic threat to capture the #1 seed, especially given the way they're playing.

Agree they are playing great and obviously will be favored to beat Ohio Friday night, but I just don't see Boals allowing his team to lose two more regular season games. That's what would have to happen for Kent to have a shot at #1 seed.

Beat Kent Friday night and we have a very good shot at the regular season title with only CMU, BGSU, NIU and Akron left on the schedule.

And that would be an extra $10K in bonus money (well deserved) to Coach. Which will make someone's head explode as a waste of money.
