I hope we can pound a bad team like WMU the way Toledo did.

Buffalo sucks. Kent really sucks.

Buffalo gives up 58 second half points as Miami comes from behind to score BIG.

What's to make of that: Bad defense, hot offense or thin bench from Covid?

The 9 who played for UB were there 9 leaders in minutes played this season, so I don't think its a thin bench / Covid related.

Miami shot 50% in the second half from the field including 7-12 from distance. Buffalo in the second half shot 40% (2-13 from 3). For the game Miami won the TO battle 17-8. I didn't watch the game so I cant say if it was bad offense, good defense or a little bit of both.

Many UB fans would say that's a good thing (him missing the game, not that he has COVID). Yet, the Bulls still lost.

I really like UB's trio of seniors Mballa, Williams and Segu - as good as any in the MAC. Yet they have disappointed as a team this year.

I'm really struggling to understand how Kent lost at home to CMU. I saw the first half of Kent's first game, which ended up a loss at Xavier. But from that first half, I thought Kent was going to be as athletic and dangerous as any team in the conference this year. From their play since, it's as if they left every thing they had on the floor at the Cintas Center during those opening 20 minutes of play.

UT, while not imposing along the frontline, is looking as complete a team as the MAC has. The Rockets are not going to live and die from 3-point line like they did with Marreon Jackson and Spencer Littleton. Look out if they get AJ Edu back before the regular season ends.

I attempted to watch the Toledo game, 2nd half, but all the buffering was too much to take.

Balls finish was exciting. Trap in the corner gets the turnover and sets up the game winner. BG win streak done. That was a pretty good end. No Luke Brown today.

Kent @ Ball is the other big MAC game tonight (outside our own)

I'm still shocked CMU beat Kent.

We are clear MAC leader after the win tonight IMO

Anyone see BG/Buffalo? Because I didn't. Combined for nearly 200 points, adequate shooting for both, turnovers not terrible for either. Beefs shot 35 free throws and made 33. Pace or a foul fest or both?

NIU playing its first MAC game of the season today at Toledo.

The Detroit News reports CMU confirmed that its having covid issues.

Outside the MAC, MSU-Mich postponed because Mich couldn't field a team due to covid.

BGSU vs Miami: with nothing to do I decided to tune into the radio broadcast.

Falcons held a 9 point lead several times in the first half and then went completely stale.

Miami with a rally to get to even and then BUGS does nothing but give up three threes in the final moments to end the half and BUGS trails by 9 as time expires!

Watched the BG-Oxford Tech game. We should beat both of these teams. BG plays out of control on offense a lot, I predict a lot of charging fouls against them with BVP picking up several. We are good at positioning ourselves to take charges with teams like this that have a lot of players who don't seem to know where they are going half the time.

I just read that during the Kent@Ball game that the total amount of time that one team was ahead by four or more was a total of 1:19 of game time.

Full slate tonight with no early cancellations is good news.

Any quick reference the MAC produces to see how many teams have a player out like Miles Brown situation? Any short handed team facing a loaded roster? Do bookies factor this in to the line?

With all the cancellations the past two weeks it's hard to believe there are still players left to test positive. (knock on wood as we've been relatively lucky thus far)

Buffalo beats Western Michigan 78-64 after being down 1 at the half.

Eastern Michigan smoked Central Michigan 99-68. The Eagles had 5 players in double figures, lead by Bryce McBride with 16.

Toledo gets the road win in Oxford, 75-72 over Miami.

Akron defended home court beating Ball State 84-74.

Kent loses at home to NIU 65-63… yikes!
