Xavier parts ways with Travis Steele. This coming after last night's NIT win over Cleveland St., interesting.

Not TOS I'd be concerned about here.

He and bringing back Chris Mack were the first two names I thought of. They like to keep it in the family.

Can gather up the entire gang, Matta, Groce, Mack, Gillen and throw in some other assistants that have passed through there over the years. Speaking of former assistants where is Dante?

Dante was/is on Steele's staff.

Thanks. Had not seen much of him around the huddles. Maybe he will be one of the guys that makes the bridge to the new coach.

Please. Between the free for all transfer portal rules now making every player always a free agent (and thus always "recruitable") combined with the NIL ruling making paying players a thing - any facade of "student" within student athlete has been fully snuffed out for the money sports.

D1 basketball and football have dropped the charade and just admitted it. Zero about academics, ethics, moral values... Blah blah blah. Sell tickets sell merch get $$ from TV and bowls/tournaments period. National exposure leading to any of the previous is a-okay. Pay coaches and players to keep the money train rolling. Rinse and repeat.

The Miller bros are back in the game. Sean at the X and Archie at Rhode Island. Quite the carousel!

A year of grad school on Xavier's campus showed me they're just as committed as any power league school in this regard.

Thanks for this. It's very interesting. Usually first-time posters who post a link to something are scammers. However, this is legitimately interesting and warning to those who might think tonight's game might be a push over.

Wasn’t scamming just found it interesting. Never was a fan of O’Shea. You’ve got a good one in Boals

It makes disliking Egg-xavier even easier for Bearcats and Flyers alike.

I kind of compare this to JG returning to the MAC. I wonder how UD fans will feel about Archie next year? Previously, I feel like he was held in a similar regard that John was at Ohio -- until he went to a conference rival.
