Mark Sears is #14 Nationally in Free Throw Percentage (91.6%) and has made nearly twice as many Free Throws than those ahead of him.

It's truly impressive and something that will be huge down the stretch in MAC play and the MAC tourney, to be able to have a reliable ball handler that can make free throws.

Also, as it currently stands Mark would have the record at OU for Highest Free Throw percentage in a season just ahead of Nick Kellogg (88.7%)

As a team OU ranks #4 in the MAC, and tied for #22 Nationally shooting 77.6%.

We dropped significantly down that list night. We were only 15-24. Miami was actually one of the teams that passed us. It was one thing we didn't do well last night but most of the damage happened in garbage time. It also seems to be one of the things the MAC is doing well in while having a bad year.

It looks like Sears FT percentage has dropped to 88.4 percent -really good but apparently not a record at Ohio according to earlier discussion I believe

We left the game at the FT line last night. We hit just 27 of 42 (64%) while ACU hit 25 of 29 (86%). That's two more made FTs on 13 more attempts (15%). I know better 3-pt shooting would also have done it, but FTs should be easy points.
