There's an alternate timeline out there where they did fire Coach K in 1984 and it led to Duke winning the national championship this year so can we really conclude keeping him around was the right move?

Chapel Hill community had it out for Dean Smith his first 4-5 years as well.
But, times have changed now. You get 3 if our are lucky.
