Not that this wasn't due (overdue, maybe?) but I hate to see what this means for some of the freshmen in Muncie. Not just MAC Frosh of the Year Sparks, but others as well, starting with Sellers.

Might end up being one of those 1 step back, 2 steps forward.

Still reeling from Ronnie Thompson. There seems to be a lot of talk but not a lot of action. Will be interesting to see what comes of the search. Muncie locals on one side of town are in favor of Bonzi on their FB pages.

Who knows where this goes. From what I read there is a shortage of funds. Will be interesting to see if they go for an unestablished up-and-coming assistant or find an HC on his way down.

I don't understand how lately the first place everyone jumps to is "guy who used to be a superstar player here regardless if he's ever coached a game or not" and has become the hot trend in both football and basketball.

Has Bonzi even been coaching?

Uhhhhh yeah..... pressure at Muncie Central to find a minority coach ended up with Chandler Thompson, Bonzi and Dwayne Clemens as head and assts coaches.... as a staff they ended up with the first no win season at a school that has won 8 state titles. Bonzi took a job at Lemoyne Owen last year, an HBCU, and has been very active in coaching the kids up. It will be interesting to see how his coaching chops develope.
