As predicted complete Ohio meltdown on national TV at home.

Pretty sure we have now given up 3 buckets after our own made buckets because we didn’t know who we should be guarding. Plus another 2 FTs from Boals snapping his board in frustration on the last one. Straight up unacceptable. Lack of focus, leadership, grit when things get tough, and anything else you can think of that would make a team lovable. Instead of digging in, our senior captain just pouts and complains about the refs. And our head coach leads the charge on referee complaints when he should be worried about his own performance. It’s all unbearable.

Man I love it when Sheldon gets completely roasted on defense and then immediately comes back on offense and shoots an off balanced three that has no chance of going in. SO GLAD we continue to witness this. This sequence happens at least twice a game.
And again it has to be asked.

What does Sheldon have on Boals?

There is no other explanation as to why he’s on the floor. One of the least productive players in college basketball per metrics.

Make it make sense.

Complete embarrassment. Don't worry, this is when we transition from basketball to spring football. It happens almost every year.

This team is just not good. All talk between Haddaway and Simmons but that's it.

I just logged on for first time this year as I continue to wonder why AJ Sheldon gets minutes ever. He’s a rio grande at best sort of guy.

My son begged to come from Cincinnati for this. That would have been parental malpractice.

Should've gone to the local high school game.

I got ripped before saying he’s not a division-one basketball player.

The saddest thing is that after this crap season we may lose guys like Kelly, Elliott, Kuany and Fisher (and maybe our Reynoldsburg Duo) due to a dumpster fire. Elliott is coming up huge tonight.

Yet Boals continues to give him starter minutes. He can't guard anyone, takes ill advised shots and is not a good passer. Play Dior Connors or hopefully EE. Maybe we see some changes after tonight's embarrassment.

I'm not sure that 4 points is "coming up huge" unless it's on the "Nate Springs is the next Kevin Durant" scale.

20% from three while allowing 43% from three. Lyles and Mahaffey have almost as many rebounds as our entire team.

The next coach may not want the "one stop shopping" trio from Reynoldsburg. A good coach could go into any major metro area and find three guys as good or better in his sleep.

If Sheldon gets these minutes against Miami, Suder is going to score 40.

I meant in comparison to our starters. Elliott is solid. Would hate to lose him. He is Lundo McDay (forever lost to The Upside Down).

You got us! Our best player by a mile isn't having his best game. He is also being doubled constantly which is the obvious strategy when no one else is a threat to score.

Was Breath benched 2nd half? Elliott? Kuany, Conners? I don't understand.

Elliott is definitely not Lundon McDay. I also wouldn’t really say he’s shown much more than any of the other starters. He’s got no jump shot and is a pretty bad decision maker right now. Makes for a bad offensive player.

Down 20+ at the half and Breath/Kuany get 1 minute in the 2nd half.
And no appearance from Burris or Evans at all...

Lundo wasn't a great 3-point shooter either. Played D and did the dirty work. Difference is Boals played him. He seemingly dislikes Elliott.

Conners and Sheldon, essentially our 2-guard, combine to shoot 1-12 including 1-8 from three.
