Looking up something else I ran across several interesting things in the MAC records.

MAC record book.

Ohio has the most points in a season 37 games 2763 and the most points given up 2569 - Both happened in the same season.
Also the most FGs attempted in a season

Most 3s attempted 44 and Made 20 vs Dusquene in 2004

Most Rebounds in a season 1478 in 64-65

Jamerson still holds the single game scoring record with 60 Pts and 2nd with Points in a season 874 just surpassed by Keane of CMU in 17

Ohio has 4 of the top 10 career marks in the MAC

The way it feels, career numbers are now safe. If someone is that great to be at the top of these categories, I imagine they’ll transfer up before they can get on these lists. Now, season totals of course are in jeopardy.

that is an interesting take having watched numerous numbers fall with the current COVID year players staying on, the kid from Iowa has demolished some records but I suspect those will never be broken as there are not many athletes that are going to play 179 games.
