Am I remembering correctly that Coach Boals said after our season ended that there would be some kind of an announcement in a few weeks? Such an announcement, to the best of my knowledge, has not yet been made. Just wonder what he was talking about. Perhaps something was expected to happen and didn’t so it’s a dead issue. Just curious what others remember.

Boals made this comment on Twitter a couple of weeks ago, when asked how he would replace the current seniors -
“ We signed 4 HS seniors for next year. Really excited about them. And we will have some news the next few weeks.”

I didn't take that quote as there was something "in the bag", rather he knew they would have to do something to add players in that time period and just expected to get that done.

Agree. This illustrates why most coaches only talk in "coach speak".
