So why the announcement of only 2 right now. Are we through? Seems like we should be looking for another big man with BVP, Carter , Granger and Towns gone. Are we absolutely sure that Wilson is coming back? I sure hope so, but I’ll believe it when I see him on the floor next year.
So the depth chart on this site shows 13 players this year including Wilson and McDay. 7 have left not including McDay. We have 4 high schoolers and 2 transfers we know of. This doesn’t add up to 13 this year to me. Help me out.
I'm in the same boat regarding Wilson. While I certainly don't think he's going anywhere, I have concerns if he is going to come back the same player. That's a long time to sit out while your peers are getting better every day. As a fellow big human, I can attest that its tough to maintain body weight/conditioning.
We need another big, preferably somebody who can move and defend the pick and roll. I'm not as worried about the offensive end as I am on the other side. Clayton, Wilson, Gabe, IJ, not a lot of foot speed there so hedging is going to be a tough task.
