Well, that's that.  We're not winning anything.

While the recognition is nice, I think I prefer being an underdog... I still suffer from It Team-phobia.

So when I head to Vegas this weekend should I put my money on BG or Buffalo?   Does anybody know who Elton picked for last in the East?  That will clinch it for me.

Same here. Almost seems like a kiss-of-death. But I'm going to blame that on that 'IT' stuff on TOS since he's not here anymore. :)

I'll be happier when we're #1 at the end of the season. This preseason stuff just tells me we're probably capable of being #1 when it matters.

PS how convenient is it that I'm feeling 'forced' to stay for Halloween. Football Sat, hoops Sunday afternoon. I mean I'd be crazy to make two trips down and back in two days right?

Akron has all that experience coming back plus Zeke in the middle becoming a sophmore. We took a hit with Coleman, Bassett and Alex Kellogg leaving early.  Short term that will hurt us as we will have to ask more of the frshmen and sophmores.  If Groce can develop his talented freshmen and find a diamond or two like Cooper turned out to be then we will have a chance.

Isnt there some stat about the preseason favorite NOT winning the MAC for many years in a row?  Is that still rolling?
