I know he was at 7fest, but does anyone know the connection he has to OU. Jesty Beatz? Someone else? He's a Michigan kid who went to Duke I thought. Kind of cool just the same though.

I had read that he really enjoyed performing at 7Fest. I don't really care for his style of music, but it's very cool nonetheless. Probably as simple as thanks for the good times.

I gained a lot of respect for Posner at 7fest.

First off, he dove in the mud.  He was the biggest name there and he embraced the muddy atmosphere better then anyone else performing.
Plus he made a pretty impressive one-handed catch of a football thrown by the crowd while he was performing.  Music aside, showing me you can catch a football will put you ahead of pretty much every Hollywood artiest any day in my book.

The fact that he is repping Ohio basketball now in a top 100 music video officially seals my respect for him.

I enjoyed watching and listening.  Thanks for putting it up - I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.  Great that you see the OHIO shirt several times.  Go Bobcats!

He seems like a lot cooler guy than his music would ever suggest. I hope some day he decides to make good music.

Between this and your comments on Weezer, you sure seem like a music snob.  There's not too many things more obnoxious than somebody who believes their music taste is superior to that of others.

Fixed it for you.

Posner is fine. He is doing his thing, he has a good amount of fans and he is just now catching on worldwide.

If they sold senses of humor on Amazon, I'd send you one for your birthday.

Hey, how about having him at halftime of one of our football games?  That just might get the students off Court Street for a short while.

This song is TAKING OFF quickly.  I am pretty sure I heard it as #2 today on some countdown on the radio.

I was watching the video again today, and I noticed it was an Adidas Ohio practice jersey. Did Posner go to the surplus sale in the spring or something?

I just read in 614 magazine that Mr. Posner will be at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus in December.

Whenever I want to see Ohio apparel in a music video, I watch this:

Not my favorite Breeders song, but it's nice to hear music from my college days...

This song is up to #21 on the American Top 40 Chart.  Also, I was told that he was on a Columbus radio station today and he said "I refuse to root for OSU or say Go Bucks, but O-H-I-O for OU!"

New favorite artist!

Wow, that's great...but I am really puzzled as to why he's such a Bobcat supporter.  Seems like anyone who has ever cared even the slightest bit about OU is either a student, alum, or from SE Ohio.

Man audio of that quote would be epic.   I think this is really cool that he loves OU so much, although really who wouldn't once they have spent any time down here, especially if that time was at an event like 7fest.

I recently received the email from the alumni association about proposing honorary alumni and with the way he is marketing the university I think he is def on his way.

Here is the video of the catch (at the 2:56 mark). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hh9PYyMaeic

I must admit...A pretty darn good catch - it looked like it came out of nowhere! Pretty impressive indeed!

Nice to see a pop star "representing". He's got two hit songs. That pretty good for any artist.   I like his sound.  Bobcat gear in a music video.
