Hard to say anything good about a 57 point loss, but I think there's a couple things to take from it.

A)  Rock bottom.  Our players saw what the bottom of the barrel looks like and now have nowhere to go but up.

B)  We saw the elite side of college basketball.  Yes, Georgetown was the elite for last season, but that was last years team that our underclassmen this year didn't face.

C)  I remember last season, we skated through our first few games against weak teams then suffered mid season.  Oakland, Kansas, Santa Clara, and Temple will get us ready for the MAC.

D)  Good teaching tool.  What better tool for Groce to teach adversity than that preformance?

So my question to you... were there silver linings in the blowout, or am I just wishful thinking?

Hopefully that is the mentality they take. If not, it will be a long season.

No reason to fold up shop over a game that has no bearing on the ultimate goal of getting back to the tournament.
