Risking a jinx, MAC is 5-0 tonight with all games early in second half or halfway through second half. Includes CMU over Temple and Miami over X (ONN).

3 of 5 isn't bad, especially when Charlie & co take down X. (Western/Central choke)

Temple came back to beat Central Michigan by 12 and Towson clipped Western Michigan by two.

Miami still up 10 on Xavier with less than 5 minutes remaining. That would be a nice win for the MAC.

Akron beat Detroit on the road, so that is a decent victory. Buffalo is only up one on Army with less than 5 minutes to go.

Easily could end up a 2-3 night, but hopefully for the league's sake, it will be 3-2.

Also of note on Monday, Boise State destroyed Northern Illinois, 80-51. Will the Huskies get a chance in football?

Big game by Mavunga for Miami. He looks much improved. But, this is not the same Xavier team we've seen over the last 4-5 years. They looked very plain tonight.

Pretty nice home OOC schedule for Miami. They get San Diego St., Xavier, and UC at home.

Watched the entirety of the Miami-X game -- they put it to X early, and were able to withstand their runs late in both halves.

Anybody else watch the channelsurfing feed of the WMU Towson game?  The buzzer-beater that gave the game to Towson was incredible.  They had to inbound under their own basket with .7 left, Towson player caught and heaved from the waist just inside the three point line, it hung on the rim and dropped.  I was pulling for Western, but it was a heck of a play.

He's riding a hot streak, but his career FG% is under 40.
