i think we were out of the top25 last week also. But thats what a bad start to the season with a few bad losses does to your ranking even if its just the mid-major top 25.

I'm never sure about the purpose of polls like this.  Even being out of the top 10 mid-majors probably means you'll be lucky to make it to the whosis.com tournament come March.

For whatever reason people love polls. It's what gets a ton of web traffic and gets people talking.

I guess if your a mid-major like we are, its cool just to be in the discussion with the rest of the top mid-majors. To know that your among the top teams in comparable leagues means that your doing well as a program even though it doesn't always translate into NCAA appearances
