Doubtful, it looks like they are struggling with the full court press. They are playing good defense though.

They are up 15 to 14 with 1050 left in the 1st. I doubt they can keep hitting threes like they are...but if they do....maybe they could pull this off. Im routing for the MAC we need a big win.

Couple other games of note tonight: IUPUI is sticking with Ohio State in the first half on BTN. Looking at the Jags' schedule, I thought they would be an awful team, so this is a surprise.

At 9 is Georgetown at Temple on ESPN2. On ESPN at the same time will be the battle of the Thad Matta coaching tree with Butler at X.

Great game last night. Neither team could hit a shot to save their own lives. Man o man does Butler miss Gordon Hayward. If Howard or Mack arent scoring for them, then they aren't scoring period. Pretty much what happened last night. Xavier looked no better, and I still say the Lyons and Holloway combination on the floor at the same time is a failed experiment. Muskies have no depth, and never will have any for down the stretch if Coach Mack doesn't start putting some of the freshmen in.

Saw Terrell (Tu) Holloway after the game last night. He looked like he just got done playing a 30 game season, and we're not even a third of the way through. He's carrying this team every night out, and looks to me like he's either A) pissed as hell or B) tired of it...or both.

Would not be suprised one bit if Xavier doesnt make the NCAA tournament. Probably early thinking, but from the games I've seen, including a preseason loss to DII Bellarmine that went largely unnoticed, this team is not suited for a tournament run this year. Hell, even Western Michigan gave them fits.
