Overall, the Norfolk State stat sheet looks weak across the board.  However, they have had a few games where they've managed to play well, especially the one point loss at Virginia.

Defensive pressure by Ohio could force steals and transition buckets so Ohio doesn't have to depend totally on the half court.

No spread on the game.
We should win easily if not then "THERE'S TROUBLE IN RIVER CITY".

According to Ken Pom, this team is slightly better than St Francis, but slightly worse than Toledo.

Their only win is over Jacksonville State. They have played a pretty tough schedule mainly on the road, but if we don't win by 20 we didn't try.  They do have a good 6-10 big man, Kyle O'Quinn. He is a good rebounds and blocks a lot of shots, so this game should at least be good practice for our bigs.

A really good effort tonight.  Nice shot selection; good setups on the threes; and good work on the boards.  Seemed to be a few more ball screens than previous games.  But the FT% was only so-so and there were too many turnovers.  They still need some work, but let's hope they can play with the same intensity Sunday.

I listened to parts of the postgame and I agreed with part of the assessment.  However a huge part of how good we looked was that NF St. was really bad.  I'm sure our defense was a huge part, but another part was that they looked inept shooting.

Probably would've been better to call Ohio Valley University to come up for a scrimmage next time around and save the fans, ticket-takers, concessions, custodians, etc... the effort.
