Yes, exactly. That's all that it means. It seemed like half the people that I went to High School with complained about the Super Bowl half time show on social media last year. If that's what you feel the need to comment on of all things it means one thing - you're old.

Everyone born the year giacamo was born in the late 1950s is either old or dead. I bet giacamo prefers being old.

So, if I criticize the kid I saw in the BP station yesterday, with his pants strapped at his knees and an inability to take full steps, does that mean I'm old?

I saw the same basic thing at a gas station last week but it was a guy probably in his 50's who was apparently of the plumbing profession as he had his pants in a similar position. I'm not sure that makes me old, or just unlucky.

Can't help but think of this SNL skit from the 1970s, when SNL was clever and funny (I guess that makes me old). Skip ahead to around 3:20 to see the Norge refrigerator repairman and his way of wearing clothes. Better yet, watch the entire skit.

Everyone can do as they like. Some of the styles look pretty labor intensive and time consuming. I can’t imagine spending that much time and energy on my hair. If I had hair! I would think they have a fairly hectic schedule.

But the more I think about it, with NIL they likely have a deal with the local salon or are mining for one on social media. Everyone wants to be a star and the crazier the style, the more attention.

Wondering if giacamo saw any of the US World Cup opener today. And if so, what he thought of some of the USMNT players' hairstyles.

The hair is offset with the trending towards pre-Fab Five shorts.

Dude. Do NOT get me started on the daisy duke shorts fad. We had a name for those in my day and I can't repeat it on here.

Had no clue this was a trend until I turned on the Belmont game.

Well, that's a trend I like. I always hated those baggy pants that practically covered the ankles. In terms of artistic hairtyles, I kind of like to see the various innovations. It's particularly interesting on the women's team where with a few players it changes from game to game. I just look at it as a form non-verbal communication and artistic expression. All cool in my book.

All things considered, I really can't complain about the shorts too much as they've been reasonable this year. And at least we don't have any guys who wear their shorts like this...

Now I'm reminiscing when we were back in the 70's...what were our elders complaining about that we used to roll our eyes about? I'm sure we sound just like them when we complain about hair-do's and the like

"Don't believe everything you read on the internet" -- Abraham Lincoln
from Wikipedia:

An ungrammatical hispanicization of the artificial Italian language phrase "che sara sara", from standard Italian quel che sarà, sarà (“what will be, will be”), coined by American composers Jay Livingston and Ray Evans for use as the title to their 1956 song “Que Sera, Sera” (as such, this phrase represents an artifice based upon an artifice).
