Imagine if he had the same kind of loyalty as his new teammate Kihei Clark and maxed out all of his eligibility at his original school. He'd still be setting records while helping to continue building the program. I know that's an unpopular opinion.
You have a point, but we don't really know his reasons for leaving. Could be an educational reason - he already had two or three masters at the point last year and probably couldn't go any higher. Not many doctoral options here. But, you could also argue that the transfer portal has reduced loyalty in college sports.
IMO I still am massively thankful to him and what he's done for our team. I respect your opinion although I disagree.
