The webcast through the BG site is $7.

This is probably the worst webcast I've ever paid for, excepting the MAC-casts, of course.  I also really enjoy hearing the announcers fuss and cuss during TOs.

OCF, seriously. This whole production is light years ahead of that cluster(*&^ Akron put out. The audio didn't match the video, the scoreboard didn't match the game and you could barely make out the action. And these guys are entertaining off mike to boot.

Well, I didn't pay for the Akron feed.  I watched it, if I recall correctly, on channelsurfing.net, or whatever.  This feed the video keeps freezing and I get a message . . . please wait as video is loading, or something close to that.  At the same time I'm getting live audio.  Then the video starts for a few minutes and then freezes again.  It did get better toward the end of the half.  Hopefully the second half video will improve and the Bobcats play will improve as well.  GO OHIO!

EDIT: So far in the second half the video's better but Ohio's play is not.  I hope this changes soon.

I hope they lock that giant fat woman in Anderson Arena when they close the place.  She's even annoying me over the radio.

We need a big MAN pretty bad.  Getting dominated down in the post by Bowling Green yet again. This is looking like yet another lost year. You can blame it on youth all you want, but this team is just bad.

I thought Ethan was going to be our BIG MAN, but apparently he's not ready for prime time.  Much of the hype on this board when he was signed was that he was a non-project big man.  I guess he's really kind of a Rick the Stick or Jason Terry clone.  Now these guys got much better from year to year and had some good games, but they weren't world beaters by any standard.  I'm greedy; I want Nate Thurmond II signed this year!  As Monroe would say, I demand it!

Jason Terry contributed right away, he never had to be an offensive factor, nor a hammer on the glass, but he cleaned up inside.

Terry did contribute more than Ethan has his freshman year, that's for sure.  But, he was a much better player by his senior year than he was as a freshman.  His best game, at least that I can remember, was a masterful performance in a first round NIT game in Convo.  I believe it was against George Washington.

I've never seen someone make so little sense and love making annoying posts like Monroe. Yes, I guess this technically is an off topic post as well, but jeez. If you don't have anything important to say just read like a lot of us do. Quit cluttering the board with nonsense in seemingly every single thread.

Monroe needs the interaction as his dolls don't back, not even with air in them.

If Ethan has the same career as Jason Terry I would be very happy.

BTW any idea what Terry is doing now? I dont recall him playing overseas at all.

JT is working with disadvantaged youth here in Athens County, has a wife and a couple of lovely children.  JT is a real benefit to our community.

We made Scott Thomas look like Samarco.

Obviously, they were a little taller than us and a lot more physical. They definitely had more depth at forward. We really only have three big guys in the rotation, and Sayles was forced to play at the 4 a lot. We also had Hall and Freeman trying to guard 6-7 Thomas.

Oglesby gave them a big lift. He played strong inside. For one reason or another, he didn't play much at all early in the year. Only six minutes in the double-OT victory against Buffalo. His playing time has been increasing and he's making an impact.

BG also hasn't shot well from the outside all year, but Kraus and Thomas were on.

I'm sure our defense made those guys look good to some extent, but I also think BG really is starting to figure it out. We lost to a good team on the road. It wasn't a terrible performance on our behalf, but obviously it's got to be a lot better to beat good teams on the road.

BTW, BG is supposed to announce a major gift to its basketball program before the game tonight. Word on the street is that it will be more than the $8M donated for the Stroh Center.

10 million Ted,  had to sit down while they unveiled the banner,  I walked into Anderson Arena and looked around and thought,  Dam,  my Barn is bigger than this place.

Did you see the new Stroh Center? From the outside it looks pretty close to done. It also looked really nice.

Okay.  Maybe we need to be a little less literal.  Let me make it a little more obvious for you.  I didn't see or hear the game but from the final score and the box score detail, we once again went up to B.G. and underperformed in a way that made B.G. look like a world-beater.  So, either we don't have much talent or we are really under-performing.

More succinctly, Samarco lit us up for 47.  Again.

Also a regular on the summer Gus Macker circuit. Played against him in a Newark Macker several years ago.
