Can anyone who was there and had a good view tell me exactly what happened?  On the webcast, it looked like fists were flying, and I was very surprised that there weren't any ejections.  Were some warranted?  Who started it?  Was it seemingly a retaliation for TF's getting the reversal on the out-of-bounds call on the previous possession?  The BSU announcers kind of hinted at this as an possible explanation.  At this time all I have is questions.  Would appreciate any insight anyone can give me.

BTW, FANTASTIC WIN ON THE ROAD FOR A GUTSY CREW OF BOBCATS!  GO OHIO!

Fight?      Only thing I seen in Muncie today was,  Ohio getting some toughness and a little swagger back. Made some strides today, but we're not there yet,   Gotta keep the foot on the throat and finish teams off. Did that today, had that,  refuse to lose attitude today, made the plays to finish off Ball St.,   was great to watch.

Ohio is 2 & 0  with the pink shirt !

It was on the opposite end to where most of the Ohio fans were seated. I couldn't really see a lot of what was going on. I'm not sure how it got started really, nor did I see any actually punches thrown, but I definitely could have missed a lot. I did see the benches basically clear, and Keely had to be restrained, as did a Ball State player or two. It kind of worked to our advantage becasue it was just Washington's second foul, while it was Kamieniecki's fourth.

Like Upsan said, it was all on the opposite end from the Ohio bench & fan section. And there was a lot on the court going on so it's tough to say who all was involved, but it was a bunch, and was pretty intense. When it happened, I wondered how they would ever hand out penalties, and my guess was either they didn't have good video replay, or they didn't want to spend all the time on the replays, and end up with 4 on 4 in the game... Regardless, I'm sure the MAC will want to weigh in, and it sounds like they will.

But if there are any bright spots to this, a team that was in disarray early in the season won't let another member get bullied, and perhaps this could be the catalyst that gets the Cats in gear for the end of season run.

I can't wait for the PD's next MAC roundup column, in which I'm certain Ohio will be made to look like a band of thugs and miscreants hell bent on ruining the pristine reputation that Kent and Akron have fought to establish for our fair conference.
