I love the new Rufus. Whoever is in that suit has been doing a great job.

Indeed, very few people have the talent to do that, and I'm sure it's way harder when you have the tripping hazzard of such enormous feet.

What I want to know is how they secured the head.

I don't know how he gets those big paws back under him in time!

I love how he interacts with the fans; sits down next to them, puts his feet up on the railing like it's his house.  I guess it IS his house.

He actively seeks out kids and plays/reacts to them more than any Rufus in the past.  They normally just stand and pose for pictures and do a high five.  I've had my kids take their picture with him 2 times (Homecoming and last Sunday.)  Both times, I was just going to snap the picture with the kids next to him....he told me to wait as he posed my kids so the photo would look better.

Any cat who can keep my 3 boys entertained by just walking around, doing goofy stuff, and being "on stage" for a 3 OT basketball game is good by me!

One crazy cat.

I hope you’re saving those pennies my man...it looks like you might have 3 Bobcats enrolled in Athens consecutively, if not concurrently.

Pennies, aluminum cans, and any other scrap metal I can find!

The oldest is 5 and the twins are 3.

They all better be on the 4 year plan so I can get them in and out in 6 years!

Between us and BobcatLove's twins, we need to get some type of group discount!

For the record...His run on back flip tumbles with the head NOT falling off came to a halt tonight.  Popped right off in the middle of his patented move, exposing the man behind the mask for a split second before he covered his head and the cheerleaders help put the head back on.  He seemed pretty upset/embarassed...Hopefully it doesnt stop him from continuing to tumble.

Dear Rufus,

I am sorry about the thing that happened last night... you know what thing I'm talking about. With the cheerleaders assistance, you made a great recovery.

We didn't see a thing.... we promise. Please don't stop flipping.

Love,

I noticed they changed outfits (or Rufuses) around halftime, wonder if they just didn't get secured as well as it usually is.

However, it was impressive to be staring right at him for the event, and still couldn't tell you a thing about what the person in the suit looks like. His turtle impression was quite good!

Good luck with that, Ryan.  My four stair steps (also twins at #2 and #3) took well over the legal minimum.  The good news is that when it's finally over you'll think you've discovered a new income stream from the missing payments

I have to concur with the positive comments about this Rufus.  I got hooked on Bobcat Sports when my daughter got to be a cheerleader.  I probably spent a little more attention than the average fan watching those things having to do with the cheerleaders, etc.  This Rufus is absolutely the top of the class since I have been around.

Gotta mention that the cheerleaders don't do the things they do without some hard work of their own.
