Love these games -- VCU @ WSU has been fantastic!

Couldn't find any numbers collected, so I went through schedules and collected them.  With tonight's loss, the conference is exactly .500.  These results actually compare pretty favorably with what I thought I'd find.

2004: 7-5    (4-2 East, 3-3 West)
2005: 7-5    (5-1 East, 2-4 West)
2006: 5-7    (3-3 East, 2-4 West)
2007: 6-6    (4-2 East, 2-4 West)
2008: 6-5    (4-2 East, 2-3 West) [Northern Illinois game was cancelled following shootings]
2009: 4-8    (1-5 East, 3-3 West)
2010: 7-5    (5-1 East, 2-4 West)
2011: 0-2    (0-2 East, 0-0 West)

Total:  42-43

Miami:               5-3
Kent State:        6-2
Akron:               2-5
Buffalo:             4-3
Bowling Green: 5-2
Ohio:                 4-3

East Total:        26-18

Western Michigan:    3-4
Ball State:               2-5
Central Michigan:     5-2
Eastern Michigan:    4-3
Northern Illinois:       1-5
Toledo:                     1-6

West Total:               16-25

Currently, the MAC ranks 18th out of 33 conferences in Sagarin ratings.  If it were to split, the East would rank 14th (between MVC and WAC), and the West would be 30th (!), between the Southland and the Mid-Eastern (MEAC), and ahead of just the MEAC, Great West, Southwestern and independents (primarily re-classifying teams).

One game is already in the can (loss by Kent to Drexel), but I'll weigh in with a very optimistic prediction of 8-4.  Don't know why...maybe it's the Linus/Great Pumpkin syndrome. 

0-2 now, with both losses coming from the East.

I'll be shocked if we go >.500.  I'll say 6-6.

Good news!  It only took them 13 minutes to score 15 in the second half.
