Kirby is the anti-LeBron.  He is taking his talents out of South Beach.  I'll bet Love doesn't run right out and buy a bunch of Red Raider gear either.

One of the "minor details" to get worked out:

Craig James has yet to approve the hire.

As with everything this guy does, it leaves more questions than answers.

No matter what you think of Kirby or RichRod or anyone else who changes jobs, I'm getting tired of reading how "so and so" just said (insert timeline) he was excited about the future for his (insert current employer).  What do these idiot writers think a person should say?

"Well, yeah, I hope what I just did works out but I really don't care because if someone offers me a better situation for me and my family, I'm gone.  Could be tomorrow, could be next month, could be next year - whatever."

Why is it so hard to believe that one could still care about a school / team / job even after leaving, let alone before?

In Hocutt's case, does the fact that he just hired a coach for a high profile sport mean he has to stay and take the criticism or share the glory based on what this guy does?  Ridiculous.

(Just don't send him back to Ohio.)
