Tommy Freeman is closing in on a 1000 points for his career at Ohio,   Tommy is sitting on 998 points for his career, just 2 points away from the 1000, Tommy has at least 4 games remaining to accomplish this feat. Not to bad for a skinny kid from Muncie, Indiana.

And Devaughn is right behind him at 909. Its gonna be tougher for him. He needs to average around 15  a game including MAC tourney first round game to get 1,000. A deep MAC tourney run will make things easier for him.

21 points so far tonight has nearly halved that difference.  Heck of a game from Tommy.

And in only his second season, DJ is just 50 points away from 1000 as well.  We could have three players surpass the mark in the next five games.

After the BGSU game:

Freeman       998
Cooper          959
Washington   944

Freeman obviously will get there, probably early Saturday.  Cooper obviously will break it, whether later this year (likely) or next.  Only reason I put next as a possibility is if we would fall in the first round, as Coop hasn't scored as much since his ankle injury, though he has still been effective for us.  Washington needs an average of 14 a game if we play just 4 more, and probably would stand to benefit the most from an extra game or two to get to 1,000 on the career.  Absolutely within reach though, and I would say likely if we play an extra game or two (he is averaging 12 ppg on the year, but 13.23 ppg in conference).

If Washington keeps playing the way he has been, he'll make it too.

C'mon Devo, we're rooting for you.
