We are the scariest damn team in the MAC. I would be crapping my pants if I'm Miami right now. Bassett who? We have all we need to win it all convincingly. It will take a focused effort like tonight to make it through the tournament, but we can do this. Despite all the bad losses this team suffered this year and through parts of last season, Groce really does have the team playing its best basketball in March.

For all the things we haven't liked these past few seasons (poor regular seasons, locker room/chemistry issues, player departures, etc..) you gotta give this staff credit for getting it together down the home stretches of the past two seasons.  I didn't see last year coming and I certainly didn't see this happening this year.  The coaching staff, through all the trial and error, has found a formula that now works.  I didn't think it was possible, but we at least now have better than a punchers chance in March.

I've always thought the MAC was up for grabs and it certainly is. We have a good chance and it should be exciting to watch!

I'm still about two games away from being a true believer.  Even though the Cats have won five in a row, last night's game was the first time we've seen the team we've expected to see all year.  They finally put together 40 solid minutes.  Now, they need to do it consistently.  I hope it happens.

Well hell, one of the most negative guys on this board wants to jump on the bandwagon! I guess I will give up my seat and hold on to the grab rail.  Next thing ya know 9704 is going to tell us his speeches were just to motivate the players who read this board and he has been a solid backer all along.

Before it was all "this team" and "the players" and "the coaches", now it is "WE have"...

Hey 98.6 it's good to have you back again. Soon you will have the fever despite your negative assertions through out the season. Good to see you are putting WE in front of your sentences again. As a former player you should have had some empathy about what it takes to build teams and how long it takes a freshman/sophomore dominated team to get acclimated to play at this level despite your assertions of weak and easy schedules. Forgive my rant but there has been a whole bunch of folks running this team into the ground the entire season. Now you want to be part of the WE?

I certainly don't need to defend myself, but I'm not a negative poster by any means. I've said all along that the MAC was not a strong conference and that there would be opportunities come March. Some have wanted to jump off the deep end about this or that and I have remained calm. I did think that we should have had a better record against our schedule, especially with all the home games, but come March there would be a good chance, not just for us, but everyone. I'm allowed to say "we", as I wore the green and white.

Why dont we just be happy with having fans here instead of being pissed that the "jumped on the bandwagon" If you have bandwagon fans that means your doing well......so its a good thing.
