It was good to beat a storied program at their place.  But that NC team was not at all a good team.

Last year's MAC and Georgetown blown the NC game away.  So does (did) the NIT tourney winner.

You can see the lack of athletic ability on NC in that video.  But what I really like is the Flomo swattage.  We sorely need that again.

It doesn't matter how bad UNC was that year. It's still a historic win for the program.  The fact that Dean Smith took time out of his day to come down and meet the team makes it even more historic.  Winning in the Dean Dome is a big deal.  It will be remembered long after wins against much higher ranked teams like UConn and Syracuse are forgotten.

Wow, I remember that game like it was yesterday.  That was one of the most talented teams we've had here, and definitely one of the top 5 OU games that  I've watched.
