Again today, the officials added time at the end which allowed Belmont to hit a three and take the game into OT. Luckily for MTSU, they had a great 5 minute OT period and won by a bunch. The announcers mentioned the ending vs Ohio several times near the end of regulation. Something stinks over there...it's happening too much to be kosher.

Your commitment to taking down Belmont any chance you get fascinates me. I say you run with this and do a full scale investigation. Don't let up.

Belmont shot 28% from three and 53% from the FT line while the Bobcats shot 45% from three and 89% at the line...yet the refs found a way for Belmont to win...at home of course. I don't find anything humorous in that.

Maybe Belmont won because they shot 66% on 2 pointers versus us shooting 43%.

In my mind they won because of "clock management."

Ohio should have won as the Bobcats won the rebounding battle 34-24. . . no wait, Belmont should have won as Ohio turned the ball over more, 14-13. . . no wait . . .

Maybe my math is off...but ten more boards is a bigger deal than turnovers being almost dead even. And with Muszinski (sp?) being gone, severely depleting their inside game and Belmont depending even more than usual on 3-pointers (the addition of 3-point specialist Friberg)...well, I was there in person and in spite of an offensive slump in both halves, Ohio still deserved to win that game. MTSU certainly deserved to win and blew it open in OT, nullifying the home court zebra advantage gifted to Belmont.

And I noticed that night at their food court that Belmont as a school has started to be far less lily-white and bible-thumper-centric for which I applaud. It's about time.

So, you think these officials get extra cash in their envelope from Belmont, or they just cheat because they are Belmont fans?
