Excited to get this season going today.

Expectations need to be tempered through November/December. This really is a high quality schedule...especially when you factor in nine newcomers and a ton of true frosh. A 5-8 non-con record is not out of the question and we just need to weather the storm.

My guess is that the player Boals is referring to returning tonight is Miles....which means we might not see AJ and IJ until after Michigan. I believe Boals said the two other players were two weeks away.

There are going to be some growing pains over the next 53 days. Boals will figure it out come March, but this could be a bumpy ride over the next two months. Don't hit the panic button.

Others have mentioned it here, but I'm also very interested to see which Ben Roderick shows up this season. Boals is going to have an interesting decision to make there if #3 is not hitting the 3 early on.

I'd like to come out of the non-conference schedule with a clear picture on who is willing to step up and hit 3's.

With all the new comers on this year's roster, I'm predicting Boals will tinker with lineups/rotations and get a lot of these guys minutes early. Hopefully we see 1-2 shooters separate themselves and earn their opportunities.

We finished 196th in D1 last year with a clip of 33.5%. There's some room for improvement and losing our best shooters in Schmock, BVP, and Sears gives me concern.

Roderick is going to be a huge difference maker, one way or the other...

Great summation. We have a lot of young talent and I'm looking to see what we have with the freshman - Sheldon, James, Brown, and Hadaway. The transfers are intriguing and we could get some mileage out of them since Wiz and Hunter are only juniors.

One this is for sure - we need big seasons out of our seniors - Brown, B-Rod, and DW3.

Agreed. We could be in for something special with this group. I'll be in chatroom if anyone wants to join!
