I understand Toledo has some solid dudes back but am I missing something regarding them deserving this much love? Rollins was an NBA talent who is gone. I am not saying they will not be good but they are getting more love than Buffalo with Oats or us with Jay Preston. Rothstein visited them and now 4th? Sorry, I don't see it.

I don’t think it’s all that surprising; even with Rollins gone. Shumate, Miltner, and Dennis each have All-MAC abilities. Add in Cochran and Maddox to the mix, it’s a solid squad with a lot of experience (voters love that with mid-majors). That all said, it’s still Todd K and Toledo.

Zero MAC titles and one post-season win (CIT 2012) in eleven seasons. March matters more than this poll.

I am much more scared of Freeman/Castenada or Jacobs/Carry right now than I am about the Toledo trio. Who knows, maybe Hunter/Wilson/Baker will be the Top Trio at the end :)

Sounds like Toledo is hovering around "it team" status. My favorite stat is Toledo hasn't been to an NCAA tourney in 43 years. I can't wrap my head around that one. Let's make it 44.

Let them get in as the MAC's 2nd at large. . . with Akron/Kent getting the 1st at large and Ohio getting the automatic bid.

Man as awesome as it would be to have a multiple bid MAC - hasn't happened since 1999. I wasn't born yet.

I remember when they beat a B1G team (think it was Iowa) in the first round. Was that 43 years ago? Tempest Fugit.

Why bother playing? The season is preordained.
