Topic: IJ Ezuma redshirt?

First, I noticed that this tweet was missing IJ and Olumide.

Then I remembered someone on here saying that IJ was in a boot at a recent practice.

Then I saw on our verbalcommits page that IJ's name is in red signifying "Current Red-Shirt Scholarship Player". https://www.verbalcommits.com/schools/ohio
That page still lists Dwight as the same catergory and in the same class as Jason Carter and Tommy Schmock. It also has several class items still needing update.

Is IJ redshirting? Did he somehow earn one last year? How would verbalcommits know this?

It looks like they have him marked as "Expected Redshirt" which explains the ERS. I believe they are still speculating he will redshirt this year. It looks like they are in the middle of updating the page, as Quinn Corna and Ben Estis were added.

Welp, this is confirmed by Boals at a post game press conference recently. Ezuma and Estis to both redshirt for 22-23.
