I live in Tampa and will be going to the game. I'm going to get as many people/co-workers I can to cheer for the Bobcats. There are lots of great pre-game spots down by Amalie Arena.

American Social & Jackson's Bistro are two great spots walking distance to the arena and have awesome water views.

I have a good friend in the Tampa area so I will be there. Booked my flight yesterday. Don’t see any basketball type seating charts to know which section to buy tickets in once the presale goes live on 9/27

I live in Tampa about 2 miles from Amalie Arena if anyone needs a tour guide. I will try to put together a list of spots near the arena as the game gets closer.

I just typed in "Gators" as the code and it worked. It doesn't specify what side Ohio will be on.

I just got a few tickets down low in section 101 close to center court behind the scorers table. The seating chart on ticket master shows the benches in front of 130 and 102, but not which bench is which. Guessing by the number of tickets sold in those sections Ohio would be on the 102 side, but again that’s just a guess. I was going to spring for floor seats but at $140 face, plus close to $50 in fees per ticket, it got to be too expensive too quickly.

Edit: I used the “Gators” code Rufus mentioned above. There’s another Venue Presale at noon tomorrow (Code “Amalie”) and an Ohio University Presale also at noon tomorrow (code “Bobcats”). Not sure if they’ll release more tickets with each presale or when the general go on sale

I took a chance and bought 1 seat in section 102 hoping that it's behind Ohio's bench. I'll be in town for the CBJ game the next night at Amalie Arena, so it's a nice Ohio doubleheader in Tampa!

Just an educated guess based off the Raptors games during the pandemic but the home bench was in front of sections 129 & 130.

Was very skeptical of the Todd Golden hire at Florida.

Florida Atlantic wins in Gainesville.

At one point in second half, Owls went on a 30-6 run.

So you are saying there's a chance on December 14th.....

As a Tampa resident I figured it would help to drop some knowledge on pre-game spots.

-Yeoman's - British pub, food is solid
-Hat Tricks - Hockey bar, i'd equate to a Red Brick Tavern sort of vibe
-Pint & Brew - Lots of craft beers, good sandwiches

Sparkman Wharf is a cool place to roam and grab a beer before the game... there is a beer garden and a bunch of places to grab some food. Fair warning, prices are a bit high.
