the top four seeds in the MAC tourney were two from each division? Seems to me three have come from one division (usually the East) almost every year. But if BSU wins today, there'll be two from each. Not a sign of parity, by any stretch of the imagination.

I thought this thread was going somewhere else entirely... as in... when was the last time we went into the regular season finale with a chance to clinch a bye and won that game? Seems to be atleast a biannual event. We have to win our finale to clinch a bye, and like clockwork, we lose it EVERY DAMN TIME. Larry Hunter, Tim O'Shea, and now John Groce.
Well, the sad thing is, since divisional play began, The Ohio Bobcats, whom we all consider to certainly be one of the top 4
programs
in the MAC have actually earned a bye...wait for it... once.
ONCE!!!
Which coach did it? The ever unpopular Tim O'Shea.

Yeah, wasn't that the 2007-08 season?

At least the rest of the West was nice enough to suck enough for all of them, seeds 9-12 are all West.
All Tuesday games will be West @ East.
