Al,

It would be nice if this was actually done, but it is not.  Faculty will dig in their heels just like everyone else and defend their $.  Hence why we have more majors than we should.  The faculty speak a nice game but it doesn't play out that way.

I thought an art professor would have been able to make a better costume, but looking at this guy's web page on the University's website, apparently he just re-used his skunk costume as it appears in the slide show of his work at the bottom of the page:

I don't know much about art but a first read of his bio is impressive:

If you have 7:22, those of you who are busting these guys chops might want to watch this video:

My point isn't about his art skills as I don't really "get" art, especially when it's not a painting or an sculpture shaped from clay.  If placing a bunch of ratty looking clothes on a horse is art, you can label me a hater of art:

My point is don't have a discussion about improving education (and funding of it) while being half naked in a homemade skunk outfit (which may or may not look anything like a skunk) doing a 1st grade level skit.

Embarrassing.

Yup.

I take solace in the fact that 98.5% of campus just ignored the event entirely.

2005 levels? I don't know where that came from, but it sounds good to me? GIT 'ER DONE HAYS!

A few things I'd like to revert to 2005 levels:
* Cost of downloads from i-tunes. $1.29 sucks. Let's go back to 99 cents for all downloads please. This 30% increase is way above inflation.
* My property value. Wayyyy better in 2005.
* Grande latte. I swear it was only $3.35 back then. Now it's like $3.55.
* My Great Lakes Christmas Ale. It was a little more unknown to the masses then, and who really believes the cost of hops has gone up that much?
* My health care copays.
* I think we can possibly get Leon Williams and Jeremy Fears added to this year's team in time for the MAC tourney as bench players with Groce as coach if it's done right. I'm thinking FINAL FOUR BABY!
* Bobcat Dragon in the O-Zone...errrrrr

Can we get a time machine, please?!?!? Are you there McFly?
