I know some people on this board go back and listen/watch broadcasts on-demand but I wanted to give folks who may not be aware a heads-up. You can watch/listen to entire games, the Game Rewind, Bobcat Sports Today and Broadcast Opens. The work that Russ does on the Broadcast Opens is amazing. A must listen for any Bobcat fan. Follow the link below and click on the 'On Demand' tab.

As someone who relies on Russ for almost all my exposure to the Bobcats I would like to second this. Russ has increased my enjoyment of the Bobcat broadcasts exponentially. We are lucky to have him (and his team).  I liked Derek's broadcasts as well but it just feels like Russ has taken it to the next level.

I'm all out of cliches. Seacrest out.

Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for spreading the word on all of the content we have available for you.

New to the site now: the Winthrop Rewind, the John Groce postgame interview from Winthrop, Bobcat Sports Today and a one-on-one with Tommy Freeman.  His 240th three-pointer will be the record setter for threes in a career at Ohio.  We talked about the record, the work that has gone into him getting to this point, his father and more.

You can scroll down in the "on demand" section to hear previous opens, rewinds and BST's.

Enjoy!

I've always wondered why Russ doesn't change the not-optimal endings of close games for those of us who only get the audio.  We could be something like 24-5 if Russ went this way.

What he sees and says is what we get.

Anybody want to run a Monroe translation on that one for me?

After reading it a few times myself...

I think he is saying he would rather have Russ and Rob fabricate the ending of games so Ohio always win instead of reporting the loss as it actually happens.

The Bowling Green radio broadcast open (with a T-Free and Hoosiers flavor), the call of Tommy Freeman breaking the three point record, the radio postgame with John Groce and Freeman, and the 2-24 BST are all up in the "on demand" section.  Click on the link at the top of this thread, and go then click on the tab.

The full game rewind will be up in the morning.

Also, the BobcatTV interview and recap will be up on OhioBobcats.com on Thursday.

Congrats, Tommy!

Well that was a fun/wild game to call!  We hope you were informed and entertained.

The Kent State game broadcast open and rewind is up in the on demand section of the audio player.  Click on the link at the top of the thread to listen.

Talk to you on Monday night from B-Dubs in Athens for our final John Groce Show of the season.  Tommy Freeman will be our player guest.

as someone who lives on the other side of the country and doesn't get to make it back to Athens regularly I can't tell you how much I appreciate the work Russ, Rob and the team do each and every game. The broadcasts are always fun, informative, and professional. Everytime we have an away game and I have to hunt and search for a video feed I'm reminded how lucky we are to have such a high quality broadacast free of charge.

thanks Russ, Rob and team for all that you do!

Agree totally.  Watching 5 minutes of the kents vidcast with the kents 'nouncers made me realize that I should appreciate that the professional quality broadcasts we get are not so widespread.

Plus, if you see RtvotbE and RobC about town or at a Bobcat event you can actually go up and talk to them and they're great guys.  I'll bet that doesn't happen too often, either.
