Good job Fedale, way to get these bobkitties all riled up.

They dont care about this tournament, they think their 18 and 15 record either deserves better or means they should stay home and look down their noses at teams who wish to play longer.

They cant help it that they know they are most likely going to get a Thundering Beat Down again.

They are still mad that we kicked their ball sacks in in football for the few years we spent back in the MAC.

I figured they would be happy that we left, that has enabled them to A.  actually have some mild success, and B.  actually be in a conference that had some respect (because of Marshall) to where they got multiple bowl bids.

Oh well, they cant help it that they suck.

Get real.  We had a few people turn their noses up at the CIT.  More than that have posted and said that they are fine with the CIT and looking forward to it.

Dont get me wrong, we have had a few turn up their noses too, but at least there is some reason for that.

I would think with your season, you all would be thrilled at a chance to play a game, AND to play us.

Hating teams is what makes sports so much funs.

I hate you guys, therefore, I love playing you guys.

I used to HATE not playing teams that I hated, so i remedied that by simply starting to HATE everyone on our schedule.

Although, I still have a special plate in my heart to hate you all and everyone else in the Little Mac.

Yea because Conf USA is such a national power conference.

I'll say it .....I think the CBI is a clown show. Marshall belongs there but we do not.

I am only happy for our Seniors who get to lace it up one (or two or three) more times.

Tell your baseball team thanks. We got healthy on them over the weekend.

The frustration with the CIT has nothing to do with this year. It has everything to do with last season. When you're a good second half against Tennessee away from being in the Sweet 16 and you knocked off Georgetown with an underclassmen-laden team, the dream is not to go to the CIT the next season.

Not that I expect any reasoned response from a troll, but there it is. When Marshall has a night like the one the Bobcats had in Providence anytime in the next 20 years, then you'll finally get to feel disappointment for playing in the CIT.

Until then, you'll be mildly pleased with scraps.

Sorry, we got a taste of bacon and wasabi-infused filet mignon last season, so this Alpo doesn't taste all that good right now.

While Ohio was beating Georgetown in the first round of the NCAA tournament last year on the national stage, Marshall was squeaking out a 2 point win against Western Carolina in the first round of the CIT.

While Ohio lost in the second round to Tennessee, still on the national stage, Marshall was getting beat by Appy State in the second round of the CIT.

I understand the Marshall troll's point of reference here...they are acting like they've been here before, since they have.

It's hard to sleep on the eve of the first CIT round game!

Ok so let me get this straight. You pulled off a fluke, and won 1 measly game in the tournament and now you're expecting the best. This is a joke....

I didn't know OU basketball so prestigious that you all demanded such quality from your teams. LOL

Dude, arguably, the biggest win in your basketball program's history was beating Memphis...a conference opponent....this year in the regular season. That's not my opinion....that's the opinion of the 4 Marshall alumni that called me after the game to go drinking and celebrate.

You have no idea the absolute hysteria of knocking off a Georgetown in the NCAA tournament. Seriously, of all programs in America, is there another that you would rather beat? MAYBE Duke? And this was as a 14 seed IN THE DANCE. When all the experts were saying that Ohio had absolutely no shot at it, because Georgetown was a supposed legitimate Final Four contender.

Even in football, Marshall's premier sport, what is your biggest program win? South Carolina? Clemson? Kansas State? Do any of those teams compare to Georgetown in basketball? Hell no.

So, when your school gets a Georgetown-level win, then you guys can come over here and talk crap about how we ought to feel privileged to play the mighty Herd in a postseason tournament that didn't exist 3 years ago.

Stand up and cheer, bitches.

While we Bobcaters are certainly proud of our victory over Big East power Georgetown last year we would be remiss if we didn't offer a big congrats Fedale/Perkins on the Thundering Turds signature win over Big East WVU in the basketball version of  Deliverance Bowl this past January in Charleston. If memory serves me correctly you guys had those WVUers arseholes pretty tight in the football version of Deliverance Bowl until you guys choked, pun intended, this past fall.
Da-da dat dat dat dat dat dat da!

PS: Fedale/Perkins will you guys be taking your cousins as dates to the game tomorrow night. I guess the Marshall Family Ticket Plan leaves a lot to the imagination.

One observation, from a person whose second favorite team is Marshall (particularly in football): these trolls don't sound like true Marshall fans to me.  I think that they trolls from the University of Southern Pennsylvania (aka WVU) who are trying to give Marshall a bad name.  And, BTW, guys, you are doing a pretty good job of it!

Way to cut and copy a snippet of what I said while avoiding the point (that its hilarious you think OU is a powerhouse for beating a suspect Georgetown team). Congrats.

What's next.... attendance smack? Picturesque campus scenery? Who has the most *(&^&y bars???

Except nobody thinks that.  The thing is that we have actual basketball accomplishment and recently at that.

Compare that to Marshall, which has no significant basketball accomplishment ever.  We are light years closer to being a powerhouse than you (and we're not one).

Just trying to ruffle some bobkitten fur, for an otherwise very uninteresting game(for both sides).

And you forgot to add "At Morgantown"... thats why it's USPAM.

I gave a reasoned, heartfelt and darn dashing response to your trolling. You responded like a seven-year old.

And I did it without even raising an eyebrow while finishing off an 800-word story. An afterthought.

It took you 10 minutes to come up with what you wrote, causing you to slap your knee, guffaw and start dancing like Jesco White on a rubber cement binge in front of the local library's computer.

Someone else wants to use that 1996 Compaq. Close Netscape Communicator. Your time is up.

I'm going to wash my mouth out with soap (well my hands since this is typed lol), but I agree with this Marshall poster.  Rivalry is why college sports are better than pros any day of the week.

I hate Marshall, but if we didn't play them I'd consider it almost a waste of a season.

Show some class!

I'd say your post is also a "loser".

We were lucky. A 6th grade team could hit FT's better than our pathetic 2-9.
