Devaughn and Tommy really had strong careers here in Athens. They were role players as freshmen and become starters the last three years of their careers. They reached the NCAA tournament and were key in beating Georgetown. They are part of a select few at Ohio to win an NCAA tournament game. Freeman set the three point record. Devaughn will be remembered for his sensational performance vs Georgetown capped by a thunderous jam over Julian Vaughn of Georgetown. Sayles and Tungi made key contributions over the years in reserve roles. Freeman, Washington and Sayles were the last remaining players from the O'Shea era. Those three turned out to be pretty good players for Ohio.
