Another good take on an inspiring story.
I wonder what Kevin's future career trajectory will be? He's a video coordinator at OSU - seems like his talents could be put to better use somewhere else. I see him as a legitimate D-II or D-III head coaching candidate. He's certainly paid his dues.

Isn't the video coordinator title was a way for a school to get an additional talented coach on staff, but not be a "Countable Coach" in the NCAA's eyes?

I think Ben is right, and I've seen Kevin on the bench for the couple of OSU games I've had on this year.

I think Kevin could probably upgrade his resume considerably if he'd have them alter his job title--even if that's just a smoke screen for what he really does. Sounds better to introduce your new coach as a former assistant from The Ohio State University versus, the Video Coordinator at OSU. Just saying...

That would be an NCAA violztion. 1 head coach, 3 assistants. Only 3 of them can be out during open recruiting priods ....amongst the myriad of other rules they can do. Hence ....other positions not called coach.
Caoch Kuwick understands eachand every rule and operates within them specifically

Does one really believe that a job title is going to make or break a theoretical outside position for a staff member who working under Thad Matta at The Ohio State University?
