Random 2 month after the fact bump, but...

I came to this thread late, but as I read through it, it reminded me of an incident at a women's bball game when I was in school back in '06:

Very early in the game the lady cats fouled the other team resulting in free throws.  Just as we had EVERY OTHER GAME we started a long "Ooohhh" chant as a way to distract the girl shooting her free throws.  One of the refs came over and told us this was 'poor sportsmanship' and he would start assessing technical fouls if we continued.

Being the upstanding young man I was, from that point on during the other teams free throws I would say something along the lines of  "Excuse me lady of the other team, while I am sure you are a person of great character, upstanding moral fiber, and an all around amazing scholar athlete, I regretfuly inform you that I would take a great amount of pleasure in watching you miss this shot.  Please miss."

At the CMU game in 2008, a ref threatened to throw me out of the game because I started yelling at a Chip player about to inbound in front of the O Zone. Jeff, care to share your story?

There's also the bullpoop incident from the 2006 Akron game, but I didn't make it to that game.

This is my single favorite home game at OU.

(Close second '05 tourny win over Marshall.)

Alot of good moments and I hate to bring up a sore subject, but a student saying sucks in a chant at a basketball game is pretty common and accepted.  All the students mentioned in the Sales Centre or other groups would be doing the same thing if they were in the O Zone.
