According to uninformed sources, Jack Hartley, of Jack's Confectionery at end of Second Street near Lancaster Street, left a rather large endowment that could be used for NIL.

Great idea. Who came up with that?!?! If only this had been done a day or two sooner I would have driven down from Cleveland for this. Would have been a great excuse to visit Athens on a warm winter day. It's still an opportunity missed. Oh well, as always for a Bobcat and Cleveland sports fan, maybe next year.

If only...

The favorite excuse of so many. People love to complain. Few actually do anything about it. Sad.

So if it was announced a day earlier you’d be there, but 24 hours later your schedule is booked solid? You weren’t coming either way.

Nice first half against a pretty bad team. Second half was not so great. A lot of treading water.

They out rebounded us 46-39. For as good as AJB is we need him to use his length on the boards. Wilson GWiz and Clayton (sometimes) are our only rebounders currently. That's going to cost us a couple games we should win.

Good thing we turned them over and they couldn't throw the ball in the ocean.

8-5. Onto the MAC.

15 CS offensive rebounds to our 32 defensive. Obviously can’t be a trend in the MAC. They had a guard log 14 boards?

To be fair, they start 4 guards and he’s the tallest player in the Chicago State starting 5…

Huh? I was there and I thought we played hard and well for the most part. One reason for Chicago State's rebounds was their bad outside shooting and rebounds taking weird bounces.

Tried to watch while also watching football. The rebounding doesn't concern me at all fore the reasons Jeff stated. I only remember 1 or 2 where we were out muscled for it. I actually feel really good about our rebounding in the MAC.

Fluid offense and good defense. Didn't shoot particularly well but they shot terrible. I think our defense played a big part in their poor night from the field.

Miles had a very efficient game. When he is on he is a top tier guy in the MAC when you consider his defense. He is 50% from 3 on the season, let's spot him up more.

DW never missed and had his way with any available rebounds in a light workload evening for him. He's gonna be a beast in the MAC this year.

I feel really good about the growth the past few weeks, playing as a team. I expect us to contend in the MAC. Let's get it going.

Glad you know my schedule. Would you please manage my calendar for me in the future to take into account pesky commitments I make a day in advance? I'm that guy who drives down to Athens by myself for a Tuesday night game and drives back to Cleveland after the game. I'm not so sure I wouldn't have been there and you shouldn't be either. My handle says it all. Now get off my lawn young man!!

From one old fart to another, well done Old Zone! That was one of the most arrogant posts I've seen in awhile here on BA. And, we have a few guys who excel in that category.
