As if anybody who watched our game at UM would be shocked at the home cooking in Crisler Center, but did anybody see the call late in their game vs UVA last night that fouled out a UVA player? He's defending Dickinson, Dickinson takes his off hand and literally shoves the defender back, hard. The defender gets back on him tight and Dickinson lays a wicked elbow to his face and they whistle the UVA guy for his 5th foul. For taking an elbow to the face after a blatant shove. He was on the bench with blood on his lip and in his teeth.

Didn't see this but I was in Ann Arbor. Dickinson probably had 7-8 fouls in total but only 4 got called.

This kind of situation where a particular player gets constant "special treatment" from the refs is disgusting. You see it every now and then, and it's usually a player who is ballyhooed has a superstar of some sort. I remember several years ago the women's team had a home game with Michigan. They had a big center. Every time she got the ball she used her non-shooting arm to clear out the defender. You see this called a foul almost every time, except in this game where it was never called.

I was there for our game, also.

Here's the play I was talking about vs UVA. It's at the 21:50 mark of the video.

That ref has a supervisor. Hopefully, that supervisor is taking a good look at this replay and having a discussion with this ref. Fortunately, it wasn't a factor in the outcome.

Wow, yeah that could've been upgraded to a flagrant foul tbh.

See my earlier post in this thread about special players getting special treatment. One of our guys did that in our game against UMich, and what do you think are the odds of a non-call?

Michigan just lost to Central Mich - seems like their season is in a huge downward spiral. Man I wish we could have beaten these guys.
