Up 15-6 and then Boals goes with three true freshman. Give up a 12-0 run including 4 TOs.
Yea, I thought this was bold. Haven’t been able to recapture any flow since.

And changed the whole complexion of the game. Sheldon looking very scared.

I don't think Boals gives a crap about winning at Belmont. I do not say this as he does not want to win. I believe he wants to see who is who. Hunter had been a non-factor and Clayton is so far doing nothing. Jeff will figure it out.

And he stayed with that lineup AFTER the commerical break. That was shocking.

Few early thoughts...

Whats up with AJ Brown? Is he injured?

Wiz and Hadaway were the first two off the bench. Wiz the 6th man.

Wiz had a nice move in the low post. Easy 2 for him. If he can hit that shot, he'll be more than okay.

Surprised to see Sheldon come off the bench before Elmore... redshirt season? If that's the case I bet he ends up at Cleveland State before January.

OU started out hot, Roderick, Sheldon, and Wiz came in and they have since very much cooled off with a 12-0 run from Belmont.
Wiz might be the least aggressive player on the floor. He looks like hes hardly trying on defense. Not boxing out. Fumbled multiple rebounds.

Wiz and Baker look like theyve never been on the floor together before.

Baker has attempted 3 pick and rolls... 1 Wiz looked more like a bull fighter and they ran into each other, 2 he missed a lay-in, 3 got swatted into the 4th row.

3 is showing no confidence of being a different player. Have no idea why Hunter was taken out after making two straight 3's and then 3 comes in for him. I know he has two fouls...but still.

As bad as we have been defensively I have no idea why Adelodun is on the bench. We need A.J. Brown.

Interesting narrative. Hunter has since stepped up. Not sure where Clayton is; but yea, I’m actually here wondering who wants to be the guys.

Belmont has talent but our defense is really weak. Ball handing ain’t too good either. Best case is early season shakedown but so far we are far from a finely oiled machine.

7-0 run for Belmont in 75 seconds to close out the half.

Only taken TWO FT's the entire half.

Belmont shooting 58%. Really doing whatever they want.

4 assists, to Belmont's 12.

8 turnovers.

At least three offensive rebounds went off Wiz's hands.

Belmont flying through the paint with unbelievable ease. Clayton and Wiz as well still be in Athens.

There's no offensive flow whatsoever. A couple 35 footers from Hunter just beofre (another) run kept this from really getting out of hand.

ESPN was incorrect.

Belmont is 13-32...not 55%

Did AJ Brown even make the trip? I know he's out, but curious if he's even on the bench in street clothes?

We need an athlete on the wing.

Not enough D on Friberg plus sloppy turnovers by the bench... This will be a squandered opportunity for a quality road win

I really am not worried about this game. We beat Belmont last year and fell short in MAC Tourney so who cares in the end that we beat Belmont last year?

Belmont is 20-35, 57%. We're 13-34, maybe you misread stats

We have talent and potentially some exciting players but no infrastructure on offense or defense yet.

What we are - and will probably struggle with for a while - is everyone figuring out their role.

The last two years we've been lucky to have Preston and Sears be the guy you can lean on, the guy who will take the big shot, the guy who the offense can run through, the guy who has the ball in hands...

So far I've seen four different people at PG.

This offense looks like shirts and skins at Ping.

Yea, these small ball lineups aren’t helping either.

Belmont is a "team" already. We are what Kent and Akron are every year: a work in progress with big pieces who figure it out in March.

Hopefully AJ Brown gets back quickly, because Miles being a 6'1" SF is... uh not sustainable.

Miles is not a starter. That is not sustainable.
